The brainchild of Chip Schloss (owner-operator of St. Louis staple Atomic Cowboy), Firecracker Pizza & Beer is a celebration of lo-fi (maybe even lowbrow) fun. The brand identity is borne out of Chip’s affinity for vintage firecracker labels.

The FPB brand first came to life as an energetic mural that echoed the pizzeria’s vibrant ethos. The colorful corner has since become something of an Instagram landmark for neighborhood visitors.

The client’s intention, from the very beginning, was to have a brand that answered life’s questions with a resolute “Fuck yeah!” This idea became a mantra that found it’s way into all aspects of the brand — much to the chagrin of the neighborhood association.

Following the success of Flora. 1220 Artisan Spirits asked us to explore the packaging for their flagship brand Origin Gin.
